After an explosive first season last year, A Shop for Killers has been officially renewed for a second season, exclusively on Disney+ (Hulu in the United States).

The first season, which was named one of the New York Times’ “Best International Shows,” focused on a college student named Jian as she fought to survive the threat of highly skilled assassins seeking to gain access into her home and the vast arsenal hidden within. As she recalls the life lessons her Uncle Jinman imparted on her throughout her childhood, she must also uncover his secret past and the reasons leading up to her current predicament.

A Shop for Killers season 2 will star Lee Dongwook (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) as the former mercenary Jinman [yes, he’s alive!], and Kim Hyejun (Connect, Kingdom) as Jian, “a college student on the run from some of the world’s deadliest assassins.”

Japanese star Masaki Okada (Drive My Car) and Hyunri (Pachinko, The Naked Director) are joining the series as new cast members.

Director and writer Lee Kwon (Save Me 2, Door Lock) returns along with writers Ji Hojin (Newtopia).

The second season of A Shop for Killers is the latest Korean Original announced as part of the upcoming Disney+ Korea slate. Audiences around the world can look forward to other must-see series from Korea such as Nine Puzzles, a dark criminal mystery; Low Life, a treasure hunting series; and international conspiracy series Tempest.

Stay tuned for more info on A Shop for Killers season 2 and stream the first season on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the United States.
