Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh Superman Costumes Highlight Propstore Entertainment Memorabilia Auction

Posted on August 02, 2026 by Neil Cole A collection of rare Superman memorabilia spanning nearly three decades of the character's cinematic history will go under the hammer later this month as part of Propstore's Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction. The Superman offerings include Christopher Reeve's screen-used costume from "Superman III" (1983) and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" (1987), Brandon Routh's costume from "Superman Returns" (2006), a production clapperboard from "Superman: The Movie" (1978), cast-autographed "Superman II" Special Olympics benefit screening programs, signed Superman shield emblems, replica Kryptonite display pieces and concept artwork created during development of the unproduced Superman Lives. Together, the lots document the evolution of Superman on film from the late 1970s through the 2000s. Among the auction's standout pieces is Christopher Reeve's original Superman costume used during production of "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace".
