Koguchi Comics has a range of original, manga-influenced comics from creators around the globe. They once again return to Kickstarter to help fund their new wave of fantastic-looking comics. Sparrowsong is a magical tale of love and desire, where a woodcutter, his wife, and a mythical sparrowborn explore an unconventional romance. Sword Hunt 2 follows Dad the Hero and Roscoe the goblin as they race to recover stolen Demon Swords and save the city from destruction. Lastly, Cryomemory is a fast-paced cyberpunk thriller where assassin Renee uncovers her sister’s memories in a cybernetic body, raising questions of trust and identity. There is something in this project for everyone, you don’t get cool projects like this all the time and we can’t recommend it enough!

Eisner-nominated writer and artist Dan Goldman created Red Light Properties back in 2010 as a webcomic and now it has returned to Kickstarter with this new oversized compendium! The story follows Jude, a psychic realtor who clears haunted homes with the help of psychedelics, and Cecilia, his wife who handles everything else—including the messy, everyday grind of their supernatural business. As they straddle the spirit world and the chaos of American capitalism, each ghost story dives into themes like love, loss, and clairvoyance, all steeped in Florida’s gritty, “tropical horror” vibe. This book was made for fans of Better Call Saul with a mix of The Shining and a bit of Psychedelia. Do not miss out on this release!

The Weekly Roll, his hilarious TTRPG-inspired comic, follows an unpredictable adventuring party: a war criminal paladin, a sorcerer with a mushroom addiction, his murderous fighter girlfriend, and a necromancer on the run for tax evasion. This comic is phenomenal, and if you’re a fan of Dungeons & Dragons or any fantasy series, you need to check out this project!

Our image of the project does not do it justice, Space Pop Cats looks positively amazing, it has wonderful art, great characters, and an interesting story as the comic centers around a skilled pilot’s voyage to Mars that goes wrong after crash-landing and finding an ancient crystal that binds them to the Space Pop Cats, massive feline guardians. The project sounds great and 60 backers agree with that too. Do not miss out on this project!

This anthology caught our eyes almost immediately, the project is overnight 90 different stories for $15. That is phenomenal, and in these times rare, so it did have The Beat asking what was this project offering and who was working on it. We were happy to find out over 60 different creators got to work on this project, all with their own writing and art styles across different genres. We were hooked and would be remiss not to recommend their work to you. Make sure to check it out!
