Spider-Man's epic battle between Tombstone was SO epic that the fight took itself to the cover of the issue even, as Tombstone crashed Spider-Man through the window of a building at the end of Amazing Spider-Man #58, and we see the fall START with the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #59, and in this CBR exclusive preview of Amazing Spider-Man #59, we see what happens directly after the villain and hero crashed through the window!
Amazing Spider-Man #59 is from writer Zeb Wells, penciler John Romita Jr., inker Scott Hanna, colorist Marcio Menyz, and letterer Joe Caramagna, and obviously continues the epic battle between Spider-Man and Tombstone that started last issue, as Tombstone realized that he had to kill his own daughter, Janice (otherwise known as The Beetle) to keep out of prison (as Janice had agreed to turn State's Evidence against her father). He almost succeeded at the end of last issue, but Spider-Man temporarily saved Janice's life, but then Spider-Man and Tombstone went crashing through the window of a building...

In the preview pages, we see Tombstone and Spider-Man land on a car after falling from the building, with Tombstone manuevering Spider-Man's body below his to take the full force of the impact, and shielding himself a bit. As they land, Spider-Man is naturally dazed more than Tombstone, and Tombstone begins strangling him, asking the webswinger if he is really prepared to die to protect Janice.
That question goes unanswered temporarily, as Tombstone sees his daughter running into the subway across the street. Spider-Man breaks free, and tells Tombstone to leave his daughter alone, but then briefly passes out, JUST long enough for Tombstone to get away and head to the subway.
Janice almost makes it on to a subway train, but her father stops her just in time, and things are not looking good for Janice at the end of the preview, but we will have to see what happens next week to find out it Tombstone is truly prepared to murder his own daughter.
