Marvel Comics has released the Marvel Encyclopedia New Edition, which features an introduction by the legendary Stan Lee and answers every manner of question fans have regarding the Marvel Universe. The publisher will also release a Marvel Encyclopedia Collector's Edition in November.
According to Marvel, the Marvel Encyclopedia New Edition, written by Alan Cowsill, Melanie Scott, and James Hill, has the most comprehensive collection of Marvel facts to date. Marvel's description of the Encyclopedia reads, "Marvel Encyclopedia from DK is the best-selling, official, and definitive guide to the characters of the dynamic, ever-expanding Marvel Universe. Compiled by a team of comic book experts in close collaboration with Marvel Comics, this fully updated and expanded edition features over 1,200 iconic superheroes and villains, with hundreds of new and expanded entries detailing their adventures since the previous edition released in 2019."

Marvel stories from the comics have continued to inspire different generations, and their characters have reached and inspired even more people around the world through Marvel movies, within and outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lee believed that no matter the medium, telling good stories was the most crucial element to Marvel's staying power. "I have always tried to do stories that the characters have human qualities anybody can relate to," the icon stated.
The Marvel Encyclopedia New Edition is now available, and the Marvel Encyclopedia Collector's Edition will arrive in comic book shops on November 26, 2024.
