Gosling Producing New Flintstones Movie Focusing on Bamm-Bamm

Bedrock may soon get another trip to the big screen. Warner Bros. is developing a live-action The Flintstones feature, with Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson set to produce through their Open Invite banner, Deadline has confirmed. The project remains in early development, and Warner Bros. is still looking for a screenwriter. Plot details haven’t been released, but the story is expected to focus on Bamm-Bamm Rubble, the son of Barney Rubble, Fred Flintstone’s close friend. The franchise began with The Flintstones, an animated ABC series from Hanna-Barbera Productions. The show launched in 1960 and ran for six seasons. Set in the Stone Age, it followed Fred and Wilma Flintstone, their pet dinosaur Dino, and their friends Barney and Betty Rubble.
