The imaginatively named evil group “The Corporation” broke Ricadonna out of prison, and she’s blown up the Heroes for Hire HQ.
Then the individual members are attacked. Humbug fights off an assassin called Insecticide. Tarantula has to fight a bunch of ninjas who kill her father, at her mother’s grave site.
Shang-Chi is attacked by Shadow Stalker, who’s gotten a solid upgrade since his appearances in Master of Kung Fu.
Then they all fight Ricadonna.
She has gotten extreme upgrades, including wings and all kinds of stuff (see the cover to #5, above).
It’s a stalemate and the villain escapes, along with her “gang of four,” the “Ricadonna Rogues.”
That’s, from L to R, Ferocia, Kingsize, Blue Streak, and Flame. Their powers are pretty much covered by their names.
After the fight, where the H for H are unable to stop the bad guys from getting away, Tony Stark gives them a new HQ. Because I guess he rewards poor performance?
