Hit-Monkey One-Shot (2010): 1st Hit Monkey

This one-shot was the first appearance and origin of Hit-Monkey, a character created by and perfectly suited for Daniel Way.  He’s silly and very violent.

A Japanese hitman is lost in the mountains and nearly dead, then nursed back to health by a tribe of macaque monkeys.  One of them becomes his student, then months later watches as he is killed by his pursuers, and vows to avenge the dead human.
