A new wave of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics is coming in 2027, and IDW Publishing is setting the stage for a major year. During its latest TMNT announcement, IDW revealed that the flagship Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series will reach issue #25 in 2027 with a major creative change, as current writer Gene Luen Yang passes the bo staff to award-winning writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Juann Cabal. That would already be big news for TMNT fans, but IDW also confirmed the return of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin III – Return for New York, the epic finale to the bestselling Roninverse trilogy.
