The best part about a creation isn't always the finished product, but the journey it took for the creator(s) to get there. In the case of Batman: Hush, both things are true, depending on who you ask. Some diehard readers take issue with its formula, but there's no denying how exceptional the end result was for DC Comics for new readers and, to think, it nearly didn't make it past being a brainstorm.
