Marvel Officially Confirms Major New Crossovers Before Avengers: Doomsday

With Avengers: Doomsday set to hit theaters this December, Marvel has decided to ramp up its multiversal adventures in the months leading up to the film's release. A new series of one-shot stories will revisit the days before Secret Wars, crossing over some of the publisher's most legendary characters. Marvel officially confirmed five 'multiverse-shattering' Incursions one-shots, which will harken back to Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić's Secret Wars from 2015. MCU fans will recognize Secret Wars as the upcoming sequel to Avengers: Doomsday — so these new one-shot stories could end up holding some secret clues to where the MCU is headed before Doomsday arrives in December and the new Secret Wars movie follows in 2027. The new Incursions series kicks off on Nov. 18, and Marvel has already revealed cover art for the first issue and the full schedule, which can be seen below.
