Marvel’s VisionQuest Could Lead to More Vision Stories

VisionQuest may not be the final chapter of Marvel’s WandaVision story after all. Marvel has promoted the 2026 Disney+ series as the last part of a trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along. But showrunner Terry Matalas says he didn’t make the new series as a simple ending to Wanda and Vision’s story. “But it really exists on its own. It’s more the Vision story, just because we’re going to dig into so much of who he is in ways that the films and WandaVision couldn’t, including some deeper parts of his origin that may go back even further than what we believed,” Matalas told SFX Magazine. Matalas, who also worked on Star Trek: Picard, said the show will still connect to what came before. That means fans should expect answers about Vision’s past, his identity, and the White Vision left behind after the events of WandaVision. Paul Bettany returns as Vision, while James Spader is also set to return as Ultron.
