The following contains major spoilers for Spider-Boy #12, on sale now from Marvel Comics.
Marvel has a brand new Spider-Girl, and she might just be the best help Bullseye could ever ask for. Spider-Boy #12 finds the titular hero joining his old mentor Daredevil for a team-up that is long overdue.
Unfortunately, the two don't get much of a chance to catch up before they are beset by a duo of dangerous villains in the form of Bullseye and his new protégé. Worse still, Bullseye's young ward makes her proper introduction as none other than Marvel's latest Spider-Girl, and she is anything but what the name would imply.

The name Spider-Girl is one that has been handed down to a plethora of characters over the years. The most prominent of these is likely May "Mayday" Parker, the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson from the alternate future of Marvel's MC2 line of books, also known as the reality of Earth-982. In the years since, characters ranging from the gruff and grim Ashley Barton to the primary Marvel Universe's Anya Corazon have picked up the mantle of Spider-Girl, though rarely has it fallen into the hands of anyone who could be described as an abject villain in the same way as Bullseye's new pint-sized sidekick.
The villainous assassin known as Bullseye has been a mainstay of the Marvel Universe since his debut back in 1975's Daredevil #131 by Marv Wolfman and William Robert Brown. Since his introduction, Bullseye has maintained a fierce, often obsessive rivalry with the Man Without Fear. This has driven Bullseye to make numerous personal attacks against Daredevil, even going so far as to murder the hero's beloved Elektra Natchios with her own sai in one of the most infamous moments not just in comic book history, but in all of pop culture.

Spider-Man
Since his first appearance in 1962, Spider-Man has almost always been Marvel Comics' most popular character. Known for his sense of humor and bad luck as well as his selflessness and super-strength, Spider-Man has helmed countless titles over the years, Spider-Man's most prominent comics include The Amazing Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man, and Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Peter Parker was the original Spider-Man but the Spider-Verse has become an important part of the character's lore in recent years. Multiversal and future Spider-Men include Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Miguel O'Hara and Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham. This provided the premise for the popular Spider-Verse film trilogy, which makes Miles its primary hero.
Spider-Man is also the basis of several live-action film franchises and numerous animated television series. He is one of the most recognizable characters in the world. While he's changed a lot over the decades, Steve Ditko and Stan Lee gave the world an unforgettable hero when they created Spider-Man.
