Marvel Comics is celebrating Moon Knight's 50th anniversary and milestone 250th issue in Jed MacKay's oversized Moon Knight: Fist of Konshu #10. The book, which features a variant cover by iconic '90s Moon Knight artist Stephen Platt, will arrive this July.

MacKay's run, which began in 2021, has redefined the lunar legionnaire's mission and mythos for a new age, setting the stage "for his most ambitious and gut-wrenching story yet!" Joined by acclaimed artist Devmalya Pramanik, MacKay's landmark issue will have Marc Spector in a decisive showdown with new supervillain Achilles Fairchild, Marvel promises will be the biggest battle of his life. The explosive finale to the series' current arc also marks the "startling beginning to what's next for the Midnight Mission." In addition to Davide Paratore's main cover and Platt's variant for Moon Knight: Fist of Konshu #10, E.M. Gist also provides a variant cover.

MacKay discussed the milestone issue, expressing gratitude for the opportunity he has had to craft stories and develop characters for Moon Knight. "Taking Moon Knight from Legacy #201 to Legacy #250 over the last few years has been an extraordinary experience," he began. "We've been able to play out some long-running stories, develop our cast of characters in a way I've never been able to before, and connect with fans in a manner that I certainly never experienced up till now. I'm thrilled for folks to see what we're doing in Moon Knight: Fist of Konshu #250 and how it will set up more Moon Knight stories."

Jed MacKay Introduces An All-New Masters of Evil to the Marvel Universe

MacKay's April issue of Avengers sees the arrival of an all-new, all-different Masters of Evil. In an interview with CBR, the prolific writer discussed his approach to the iconic Marvel supervillain team. "In putting together this particular group of Masters, the idea is that they represent resistance to Doom's rule," he explained. "And as such, they have been assembled to act as architects for that resistance and valuable viewpoints in creating an opposition to Doom."
