Naruto fans are about to get a brand-new collected edition of one of the hottest crossovers of the decade.

IDW publishing has officially unveiled the next collected edition of 2024's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto limited series, this time in an entirely different format. Rather than coming as a trade paperback or a hardcover graphic novel, this new printing will present Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto as a complete manga experience, as seen below.

The official solicit synopsis for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto from IDW Publishing reads, "It's the coolest ninja matchup you could have ever dreamed of, had you dared! The Heroes in a Half-Shell meet the host of the Nine-Tailed Fox in the crossover everyone will be talking about. When teenage reporter April O'Neil has a clandestine meeting with Tsunade, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, it garners the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi."

The solicit text continues, "They aren't the only ones who are wondering what the two women were discussing, though. The sinister Foot Clan has its own interest in April's visit, as they think she might hold valuable information on the mutation research being conducted by the scientist Baxter Stockman. With April caught between the forces of the Hidden Leaf Village and the Foot Clan, it can't be long before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show up to lend her a hand!"

IDW Publishing's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto ran for four issues from 2024 to 2025, and served as the then-latest in an ever-expanding number of crossovers between the Heroes in a Half Shell and other iconic characters. In just the past few years alone, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have crossed paths with everyone from Godzilla to Batman to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (more than once).

Unfortunately for fans of the Naruto franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto is one of the few official instances in which Naruto and Sasuke cross paths with iconic characters from other properties. That being said, it likely won't be the last, even if fans have to wait quite some time before they see a similar title released.

Of course, that doesn't mean that there is no new Naruto on the way. In fact, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the anime adaptation of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex from Studio Pierrot. The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has amassed eight volumes and counting alone, providing plenty of source material for the upcoming anime series. Surprisingly, even with so much ahead of it, the anime adaptation of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will forego a weekly release model in favor of a season-based approach, ensuring that it doesn't catch up to the source material and inadvertently halt production.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto Manga Edition from IDW Publishing is currently slated to go on sale this October.
