DSTLRY has teased 11 different titles ahead of their New York Comic Con panels this weekend, releasing artwork with the names of the creative teams for the comics they’ll feature in. The unnamed books, which will be released next year, will reunite many writers and artists who’ve worked together before:
Chuck Austen and Patrick Olliffe (Edgeworld, The Tormented):
Dennis Culver and Chris Burnham (Unstoppable Doom Patrol):
Miles Gunter (Grammaton Punch) and Patrick Mulholland (Power Rangers, Zero Jumper):
HamletMachine (Starfighter):
B. Clay Moore (Hawaiian Dick) and Mack Chater (Midstate):
Moore previously described the series on his blog as a political horror story called Bloodland, followed by a series of crime OGNs set in the same universe. The book will also be the first from Moore and Chater’s imprint, Dead Echo Press.
Chip Mosher and Peter Krause (Blacking Out):
This book marks the first written by Mosher, who is the co-founder and CCO of DSTLRY, to be published by the company.
Ethan S. Parker, Griffin Sheridan, and Bob Quinn (Kill Your Darlings):
Curt Pires, Rockwell White (Indigo Children), Nil Vendrell (Shirtless Bear-Fighter), and Ryan Quackenbush (Junior Baker: The Righteous Faker):
Curt Pires and Amilcar Pinna (Generation X, All-New Ultimates):
Cavan Scott and Nick Brokenshire (Dead Seas):
Si Spurrier and Matías Bergara (Coda, Step by Bloody Step):
DSTLRY’s first panel, “DSTLRY Presents: Surviving the Most Sinister Sci-Fi Dystopias,” will be held tomorrow, Saturday, in Room 1C03, at 6:15 pm. The second, “The Future of Horror Comics with DSTLRY,” will be held on Sunday, at 11 am in Room 406.1.
