At the Spider-Man and his Venomous Friends panel, editor Nick Lowe and writer Joe Kelly debuted a new AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ‘8 Deaths of Spider-Man’ trailer. The comic was written by Joe Kelly and drawn by Ed McGuinness and will be a 10-part saga beginning with AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #61 this November 13th.
The series will start out post-Blood Hunt and will be set during this new ONE-WORLD UNDER DOOM, where in the aftermath of recent events Doom is now Sorcerer Supreme. Doom is tasked to spend time to stop the world from ending from an evil god and his scions, though in this situation – chooses to have the most selfless Marvel superhero do the task for him and delegates this duty to none other than SPIDER-MAN. Who’ll have a magic suit that will grant Peter eight extra lives – though will it be enough?
