Marvel continues its bold crossover between Predator and Spider-Man, a series that has Spider-Man making one of his very first appearances in an Explicit Content comic book series. In this world, Peter Parker works for J. Jonah Jameson in a stripped down version of the Daily Bugle, and Peter lives with his girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, who is an actor. Into this universe comes a twisted version of the Predator, "Skinner," has been introduced! This Predator has drawn the attention of one of Spider-Man's oldest foes while Spider-Man tries to save Mary Jane (who is in danger while her subway car is attacked by Skinner) in this CBR exclusive preview of next week's Predator vs. Spider-Man #2!
Predator vs. Spider-Man #2 is from writer Benjamin Percy, penciler Marcelo Ferreira, inker Jay Leisten, colorist Frank D'Armata, and letterer Clayton Cowles, and it shows how this new take on the Predator, who hunts more for the sake of killing than for the hunt itself (a subtle difference, but think about a serial killer version of a traditional Predator. It's just one more step of disturbing).

Spider-Man and His Alien Costume Cause Problems for Godzilla in Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1
In a CBR review of Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1, see how it used its 1980s setting to set up a free-for-all with Spidey, Godzilla, and the alien costume
In the preview pages, Spider-Man swings through the city (which, of course, is also in the middle of a heatwave AND a blackout), but since there is SO much danger (as he is being stalked by Skinner), he can't pinpoint where Mary Jane is in danger, so he has to continue swinging through the city.
Meanwhile, Kraven the Hunter is admiring Skinner's work. The villainous hunter is thrilled about being able to hunt down a hunter like Skinner, but as the preview ends, Kraven notes to his dismay that Spider-Man is involved in the mix, and that disturbs Kraven, as he wants a clean man-vs-alien battle. How Kraven responds to Spider-Man's presence will be revealed next week in Predator vs. Spider-Man #2, so be sure to pick up a copy!
