The Queen is coming. The Vampire Lestat may have just wrapped its third season, but the story is far from over. During today’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, AMC announced that it has officially renewed Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire (known as The Vampire Lestat in its third season) for a fourth season, which will adapt Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned. The announcement came during the series’ Hall H panel featuring executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch alongside cast members Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, and Sheila Atim. Perhaps the biggest surprise behind the scenes, according to the press release, is that The Vampire Lestat executive producer Hannah Moscovitch will step into the role of showrunner for Queen of the Damned.
