Review: Star Wars Visions: The Ninth Jedi Episode 3

Well, Episode 2 left us with quite a cliffhanger. Episode 3, titled “Voice from the Past,” takes us deeper into what Kara’s dad actually did to earn everyone’s ire and cast the Jedi in a bad light across the galaxy. But first, it looks like our heroes will have to deal with the aftermath of Nawaam’s death ray. Let’s get into this episode. Spoilers ahead! The kyber crystal cannon has fired, barely missing our heroes. It isn’t without consequences, though, as the people of Binbin now face the destruction of their world. The aftermath of the blast has shifted the asteroid belt’s orbit, causing a deadly hailstorm from above. Meanwhile, at Nawaam’s base, firing the weapon causes significant damage and clearly affects the cannon itself. It looks like our heroes have been granted a reprieve. However, in an act of brilliance rarely seen from Disney Star Wars villains, Nawaam orders his men to fire the cannon again. Alas, the first shot has destabilized the weapon, causing an accident that disables it. At least we got to see some cool Force blocking by Nawaam. We shift to Binbin, where the space dwarf miners help the space elves evacuate their planet. The asteroid shower has hit Binbin hard...
