Nawaam strikes back! Moving into Episode 4 of The Ninth Jedi, titled “Nawaam Attacks,” it’s just as the title says. Hot off his kyber cannon fiasco, Nawaam attacks with the majority of his forces to subdue the space dwarves and elves, along with Team Kara. Things are finally starting to click with the show here. Not completely, but it’s getting there slowly. Overall, it was a straightforward episode punctuated by some heavy character development and revelations. Let’s get into the review—and be warned: spoilers ahead. This is a pretty upfront episode. Nawaam attacks, causing havoc among the space-dwarf rock ships and paying no heed to the refugees attempting to flee. It’s kind of an odd gesture that Kara begs for them to be spared, considering the man had no problem trying to blow up a planet. Kara’s naivete will finally reach a breaking point. As the attack progresses and Nawaam’s base is left lightly guarded, Ethan stages a breakout of Lah Zhima. Finally, he’s going to actually do something. Lah Zhima explains his motives for remaining captive, as it seems he could have escaped any time he chose. He wants to take responsibility for Nawaam being misguided after witnessing him kill...
