The final battle is nigh in Episode 7, aptly titled “The Jedi Strike Back.” All the good guys gather their forces at the Hy Izlan temple, home to the largest kyber crystal known to the galaxy, to defend it. Nawaam wants it for his cannon, and he wants it badly. I have to say, this show has finally found its footing for me in the latter half of its eight-episode run. It is not perfect, but it does the job well enough. Let’s get into this one. We are so far in that spoilers are a given by now. The eight remaining Jedi have gathered for the final battle in Hy Izlan’s sky temple, back where it all started. After a heartfelt reunion and introductions to allies new and old, Lah Zhima lays out their goal: stop Nawaam from taking the crystal. He will stay behind while the others board their ships and join the gathered fleet in an all-out assault on Nawaam’s mobile fortress when he arrives—and arrive he does in a rather interesting ship design. Both fleets square off, and the battle begins in earnest. The fleet battle is a spectacle, just as it should be in Star Wars. The show even politely codes the bad guys with red blasters and the good guys with blue ones. On the bridge of Nawaam’s ship...
