She-Hulk #9 (2005)

Like most issues of this series, the emphasis here is on fun and esoteria.  The story really serves as a vehicle for the creators to talk about a bunch of characters we rarely see.

In a flashback, we are shown a battle between Hercules and Constrictor (and others), where Herc literally beats Constrictor’s face in.

Over the course of the issue, Constrictor sues Hercules and She-Hulk helps work out a settlement.

The issue begins with Shulk and Southpaw returning from their outer space adventure and we learn that Jennifer now has a special “Magistrati badge” that will help her teleport wherever she wants.  There’s also the development of a substory about She-Hulk having recently gotten a power-boost, and she’s struggling to adapt to her newfound strength.  Among other things, she asks Reed Richards and Doc Samson for help.  She’s also concerned that continually changing between her human and hulk bodies will cause cancer, which was something Reed had told her back when she got her own graphic novel.
