In case you missed the news, Marvel recently revealed one of the most notable Spider-Man retcons of all-time (and likely THE most notable retcon since One More Day eliminated Spider-Man's marriage and made his secret identity a secret again), which is that May and Ben Parker actually DID have a son of their own, but he was taken from them at birth and raised by another family.
During the "Death Spiral" crossover, when Spider-Man faced the villain, Torment, Torment's superpower was to be able to sense familial connections between people. Torment would then kill his victim's families (starting with their most distant relatives and slowly getting closer to the victim as a "spiral") until he kills his victim. Peter Parker was one of Torment's targets, and he shocked Spider-Man by trying to kill a middle-aged man who he told Spider-Man is his COUSIN! The man, Cormac Crane, then got a DNA test, and discovered that May Parker was his mother (and Ben Parker was his dad)!
In this CBR exclusive preview of Amazing Spider-Man #32 (by Joe Kelly, Patrick Gleason, Marcio Menyz, and Joe Caramagna), see how Cormac and Peter deal with the whole, you know, Spider-Man deal.

In the preview pages, Peter and Cormac leave Aunt May's apartment after the dramatic revelations that they are both still reeling from a bit. This is when Peter realizes he has to get into the whole Spider-Man situation, as both Spider-Man and Cormac heard Torment say that Cormac was Spider-Man's cousin, so, of course, then that means that Spider-Man has to be Peter Parker, who is Cormac's only biological cousin.
Peter is already spiraling a bit from the news that he HAS a cousin (and, more importantly, that his "mother" now has a whole other son, and one who might not disappear on her constantly to fight crime) when he realizes that he has to deal with the fact that Cormac knows his secret.
He tells Cormac that he has to keep his identity a secret from May, and that May might not be able to deal with another big shock on top of learning that she had an adult son, and Cormac agrees to keep Peter's secret, but if you want to see if Cormac might be up to something else, be sure to pick up a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #32 next week!
