‘Spider-Man’ Tops Box Office For Fourth Straight Weekend

It’s not a brand new day at the box office — it’s been the same story for a month now.For the fourth straight weekend, Spider-Man ruled the weekend in theaters. The film took in another $39 million in domestic multiplexes. Its current U.S. gross stands at $854.9 million. That’s the third best in the history of movies — and second best is Avengers: Endgame, which has earned $858.3 million. In other words, in a matter of days Brand New Day will be the #2 film of all-time in the United States.(The highest-grossing film ever in the United States is Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which earned $936.6 million domestic in 2015 and 2016.
