Chick-fil-A is dishing out more than just delicious chicken sandwiches with the launch of its new streaming app service next month. The fast-food chain is set to unveil Chick-fil-A Play on November 18th, an app designed for both parents and kids to enjoy together while munching on their favorite meals.
The popular fast-food joint will debut the free service with several original animated shows and scripted podcasts, like Hidden Island, alongside cooking shows and interactive stories. Chick-fil-A Play aims to provide a fun and entertaining experience for everyone, whether they’re dining in, ordering from the drive-thru, or enjoying a meal at home.
“Hospitality and fun have always been at the core of the Chick-fil-A family experience, whether inside our restaurants and play areas, or through our Kids Meals,” said Dustin Britt, the company’s executive director of brand strategy. “The Chick-fil-A Play App is a digital extension of that experience and another way we’re reimagining ‘Play’ for our Guests, in a unique way through entertainment that really encourages time together.”
As the third-largest U.S. restaurant chain by sales, Chick-fil-A is also expanding its business into the entertainment space by selling branded merchandise. This new app launch is just another way the company is bringing fun and family-friendly experiences to its customers.
Breitbart News reports that the company previously produced content for its site, including Stories of Evergreen Hills, a series of animated shorts.
