The historic North Park Theatre in Buffalo, NY will celebrate two iconic chapters of DC cinematic history with special big-screen presentations of "Superman: The Movie" and "Supergirl" (1984), giving audiences a rare opportunity to experience these beloved films as they were meant to be seen - on the big screen.

From January 9th through January 13th, the theatre will present "Superman: The Movie" in a stunning 4K restoration. Gorgeously remastered, the film showcases the groundbreaking spectacle that set the standard for superhero cinema and reaffirmed why audiences around the world believed a man could fly. The classic stars Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, and Gene Hackman.

The celebration continues January 14th and 15th with screenings of "Supergirl" (1984) in which Kara Zor-El leaves her isolated Kryptonian city, Argo City, to retrieve the Omegahedron, a powerful energy source that accidentally falls to Earth. The film stars Helen Slater in the title role, with a distinguished supporting cast including Faye Dunaway, Mia Farrow, and Peter O'Toole.
