‘Ted Lasso’ Actress Brags About “Real Feminist Men” in the Writers’ Room for Season 4

Hannah Waddingham shared some troubling updates with Deadline about Ted Lasso Season 4. The 2-time Golden Globe nominee for playing team owner Rebecca has confirmed that filming will begin in July 2025, and she praised the show’s writers, calling them “Jedi Knights” for their incredible storytelling.

She also highlighted the presence of “real feminist men” in the writers’ room, emphasizing how well she thinks the scripts are crafted. The new season is expected to focus on a recently created women’s team that was hinted at in the season 3 finale. Sounds positively boring.

Waddingham also expressed surprise at the show’s return, saying, “We thought we’d mourned the loss, and now it’s rising from the dead!”. Maybe this is the result of a lack of fresh ideas.

Along with Waddingham, series regulars Jason Sudeikis (who plays the titular character Ted Lasso), Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple and Jeremy Swift have been confirmed to reprise their roles.
