Carl Barks |
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #232, 1960 - Sent to the North Pole to participate in the Navy's navigation exercises, Huey, Louie and Dewey must also contend with their stowaway uncle Donald Duck. Carl Barks does a good job depicting the frigid locale, but his drawings overall are merely adequate. His holiday-themed cover is even more so. Other artists in this issue include Paul Murry on Mickey Mouse. This is 192 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
