This tie-in to House of M takes place BEFORE House of M, establishing Wolverine’s anti-establishment past in this reality. Logan is already a character with lots of “fake memories” used to misdirect readers (or fix continuity gaps). Now on top of that he’s the only character in HoM who has a past in a reality that didn’t exist before the event started.
