IDW recently released Star Trek: The Last Starship #12, the shocking finale of the series that revived Captain Kirk from death back in November 2025. Now, nearly a year later, Kirk and Sato are putting aside their differences in one last effort to save Starfleet, and it's been revealed that the Borg's comeback played a crucial role in restoring peace and order to the Galaxy.
