‘Hellraiser’ Tetralogy Getting a 4K Release Date Before Halloween

Arrow Video will release the Hellraiser Tetralogy on 4K Ultra HD on October 27, bringing the first four films in Clive Barker’s horror franchise back to home video ahead of Halloween. The set includes Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, and Hellraiser: Bloodline. Arrow restored all four movies from their original camera negatives. Each film will be presented in 4K with Dolby Vision and HDR10 compatibility, along with lossless stereo and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 tracks. The release arrives 39 years after Barker’s original Hellraiser opened in 1987. The movie was made on a reported $1 million budget and earned about $30 million worldwide, turning a low-budget British horror film into a lasting franchise. Barker adapted and directed the film from his novella The Hellbound Heart. It centers on the Lament Configuration, a puzzle box that opens a path to another realm.
