The Story So Far
Tower of God originally debuted on Naver Webtoon fifteen years ago, in June 2010. Since then, the series has rocketed upwards in popularity. Tower of God has 4 million subscribers on WEBTOON, and 6.2 billion worldwide reads. The comic has received several adaptations, including mobile games and a Crunchyroll series.
Tower of God Twenty-Fifth Bam as he undertakes the journey of a lifetime. For the majority of his life, he has lived in the shadow of the titular enigmatic Tower. His only friend and ally has been Rachel, his close friend.
But Bam is crushed when Rachel chooses to enter the Tower. Spurred by Rachel’s actions, Bam manages to get the door to the Tower open. Tower of God, Vol. 5
Inside the enormous Tower, Bam finds many unique environments. Permeating these levels is the element “Shinsu,” which is created by the Tower itself. Shinsu enables the survival of those inside the Tower in many ways. When someone in the Tower runs out of Shinsu, they die.
But things grow more complicated for Bam after he undergoes some startling revelations about the nature of his friendship with Rachel. Given this deep, dark secret, can Bam really trust Rachel’s intentions?
In the fifth volume of Tower of God, the situation continues to grow more fraught. The hide-and-seek test begins for Bam and the other Regulars, despite objections that the test may be exceedingly dangerous. Meanwhile, each challenger team must test their mettle against a Ranker. These powerful entities have already managed to make it to the top of the Tower. However, Bam is separated from his typical team, and the danger increases as a result.
