According to Manga Planet, the story is described as follows:

“There can’t be ‘fate’ for betas like me…”

Azuma knows his place in this world where alphas and omegas are destined soulmates — outside.
Lost in thought on an icy winter night, and as if guided by the ghost of fate itself, Azuma looks up and sees… an angel.
This is his first encounter with Mahoro — not an angel, just an omega working at a brothel and a magnet to misfortune.
Worried and intrigued by Mahoro’s situation, Azuma visits him often and finds himself helping Mahoro search for his fated mate. But could Mahoro’s and Azuma’s destiny be different from their expectation?

Manga Planet previously released a physical edition of Chika Hongo’s Setagaya Synchronicity, which debuted at Anime Expo 2024. The print edition of City Lights Birthday will be published under Manga Planet’s futekiya imprint and priced at $14.99 USD. However, a release date has yet to be announced.

Originally launched in 2012 as a joint project between FANTASISTA, INC. and Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd., Manga Planet began as a research initiative to study global manga readership. In 2019, they introduced futekiya, a Boys’ Love subscription service, followed by the multi-genre Manga Planet library later that year—both designed as a “Netflix for manga.” The two services merged into the Manga Planet platform in 2023, with subscriptions starting at $1.99 per week.

Fans eager to read the title before its print release can access it now on Manga Planet.
