A new Assassin's Creed collected edition is on its way more than four years after one of the franchise's most underrated titles came to a close.

Fan-favorite indie publisher TOKYOPOP has officially unveiled what might be the most hotly anticipated Assassin's Creed title of the year in the form of Assassin's Creed: Dynasty — The Complete Collection Hardcover. This upcoming collected edition will offer readers all five volumes of writer Xu Xianzhe and artist Zhang Xiao's hit series in one place for the very first time.

The official solicit synopsis for Assassin's Creed: Dynasty — The Complete Collection Hardcover from TOKYOPOP reads, "This special edition collects all five volumes of the manga in a single hardcover volume collector's edition featuring beautiful sprayed edges and foiled detailing on the cover. In the 14th year of the Tianbao Era (CE 755) An Lushan, a military governor with ties to the Knights Templar, leads his elite corps to rebel against the Tang Dynasty, and the ill-prepared Tang Empire falters under the threat."

The solicit text continues, "The two capitals, Luoyang and Chang’an, fall, and China falls under the oppression of the cruel An Lushan. As the Tang dynasty starts to crumble, Li E, a shady Assassin trained by the Hidden Ones in the far West, teams up with Tang loyalists to turn the tide and save both the dynasty and the country from this crisis."

Assassin's Creed: Dynasty Has Received High Praise From Fans and Critics Alike

Assassin's Creed: Dynasty was originally published across five volumes back in 2022. The series gave readers a rare glimpse into a rarely explored corner of the Assassin's Creed universe, charting the efforts of the fabled Hidden Ones, the precursors to what is known today as the Assassin Brotherhood. The series was widely lauded by readers and critics, although it has yet to receive a full collected edition, at least until now.

Unsurprisingly, Assassin's Creed: Dynasty is just one of numerous comic book tie-ins that the wider franchise has enjoyed over the years. While Dark Horse Comics has released its own line of Assassin's Creed titles, TOKYOPOP's Assassin's Creed: Dynasty is quite possibly one of the most important entries for die-hard fans of the franchise.

Currently, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the next mainline game in the series, currently referred to as Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe. The game was announced alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, although gamers have received almost nothing in the way of specifics, and not much more than that when it comes to updates on the title.

From what little audiences have seen and heard so far, Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe will lean heavily into the franchise's more supernatural trappings. Thanks to a brief teaser, gamers know that they can expect to be dropped into the middle of the Holy Roman Empire's infamous witch trials, which cast a dark shadow across much of the 16th century.

Assassin's Creed: Dynasty — The Complete Collection Hardcover from TOKYOPOP goes on sale October 20.
