Dynamite Entertainment, the last major comic book company that still had an exclusive distribution arrangement with Diamond Comics Distributors, has now officially moved its comic book distribution away from Diamond, as well. In a press release, Dynamite announced, "As things have changed in the comics market, we've come to an agreement with Lunar Distribution for our Dynamite titles beginning with this coming Monday's June 23rd FOC and July 9th and 16th in stores. Lunar has been an incredible partner for publishers and retailers in the comics industry, grown their company over the last 5 years, and we're proud to add them to our distribution. It's an exciting new chapter for Dynamite. "

This comes on the heels of Dynamite Entertainment's parent company, Dynamic Forces, asking the bankruptcy court to require a payment of over $500,000 for product that Dynamite had supplied to Diamond Comics Distributors on April 27, May 4, and May 11 that Dynamic Forces claims had gone unpaid.

Diamond Comic Distributors has field for bankruptcy, and the comics industry may never be the same.
How does this move affect Dynamite Entertainment?
A number of other comic book companies have moved from Diamond over the course of Diamond's bankruptcy proceedings, as there were increasing delays in the release of products from Diamond during this period, and Dynamite Entertainment, as the last major comic book company that was still distributing exclusively through Diamond, was hit by a number of delays. For instance, most of the products listed above were intended to have been released over a month ago.
Gargoyles: Demona #1, for example, was originally scheduled to be released on May 14, 2025, and will now finally be released on July 9, 2025. As of this moment, none of the orders for the above books at Diamond Comics Distributors are filled. Presumably, those orders will not be filled at Diamond going forward.
