EXCLUSIVE: Rick Remender's Terrific Teacups to Hit Stores This October

Acclaimed comic book creator Rick Remender is teaming up with The New York Times bestselling cartoonist Farel Dalrymple for a brand-new graphic novel from Image Comics. The Terrific Teacups will hit comic book shelves this October, and CBR has an exclusive first look at the upcoming graphic novel.

The upcoming graphic novel, which marks the first collaboration between the Remender (The Sacrificers, Grommets, Deadly Class) and Dalrymple (The Wrenchies, Pop Gun War), is told in the style of classic fantasy epics like Little Nemo and Howl’s Moving Castle. The Terrific Teacups story promises to enchant and delight readers of every age. Image Comics will have the beautifully rendered, fully-painted story available in a paperback edition and a limited print run, deluxe, hardcover edition. The Terrific Teacups original graphic novel will arrive in deluxe hardcover format for $24.99 and in paperback format for $14.99.

The Terrific Teacups' Creators Discuss the Upcoming Graphic Novel

Giant Generator creator Remender is excited about The Terrific Teacups and the collaboration with Dalrymple. "Farel is one of the most innovative artists in the world today," he said. "It has long been a dream to get to create something personal together, and there is nothing more personal than the Terrific Teacup stories I told my kids as they grew up. Seeing him lovingly paint these characters into existence has been one of the greatest joys of my career and the result is this phenomenal book."
