Spider-Man fans were shocked at the end of Amazing Spider-Man #2 when the issue revealed the return of Itsy-Bitsy, a key new character who had been introduced in Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness' Spider-Man/Deadpool series. Itsy-Bitsy gained the combined powers of Spider-Man and Deadpool, and while she was initially created to kill the heroes, she instead chose to become their biggest fans...but she expressed that fandom by killing in their name! It tested Spider-Man's stance on killing, and ultimately, Deadpool stepped in and killed her himself, but it was clear at the time that she had barely survived, but she would need a long time to heal herself, and as we see, she is now back, and that is bad news for one of Spider-Man's oldest foes, the Rhino, in this CBR exclusive preview of next week's Amazing Spider-Man #3
Amazing Spider-Man #3 is from writer Joe Kelly, artist Pepe Larraz, colorist Marte Gracia, and letterer Joe Caramagna, and it continues the problem of Spider-Man having been poisoned by Itsy-Bitsy back at the end of the first issue of this new series. So Spider-Man is constantly hallucinating as he goes about his day-to-day life as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man, and as you might imagine, it is not exactly conducive to being an effective superhero.

Amazing Spider-Man #1 Review: It's a Brand New Day for Spider-Man...Again
In a CBR review of Amazing Spider-Man #1, brand-new Spider-Man writer Joe Kelly goes back to the days of Brand New Day Spidey in this new series
In the preview pages, we see Spider-Man thinking back to his middle school days when he was a bit of a rebel due to hanging out with a mischievous fellow student. This kid is on his mind because he recently got Peter a job at his company because he remembered how much Peter helped him out when they were kids. Aunt May was obviously not a fan of this kid and the rebellious streak he instilled in young Peter, and so Peter is remembering one of the arguments he had with Aunt May, but, of course, since Peter is high on drugs, the memory turns into a nightmare.
Peter is pulled back to the present day, where he is fighting against Itsty-Bitsy, who drugged Peter, and had drugged the Rhino, as well. The plan was for the Rhino to die after being experimented on, but Spider-Man saved his life, and now Itsty-Bitsy is here to kill him to eliminate any evidence of the drugging plot she is working on for the Hobgoblin, but Spider-Man is here to protect him.
Spidey recalls that Deadpool KILLED Itsy-Bitsy, so it is really messing with his head. Meanwhile, Peter's current girlfriend, Shay, is a nurse at Ravencroft, and she is trying to protect her patient, as well. It's a very dramatic scene, and you'll have to pick up next week's Amazing Spider-Man #3 to see how it all resolves.
