This is another great issue–the fifth in a row. It starts out like a Punisher MAX story: With an anonymous beat cop narrating how he interrupted Bushwacker during a crime in Times Square, and then learned that the criminal was there with the full cooperation of SHIELD agent GW Bridge. Bridge was using the villain to lure Punisher out of hiding.
Then Punisher arrives and seems ready to kill Bridge for aligning with the likes of Bushwacker, but the monitors in Times Square show the bleeding body of Captain America.
Nice tie-in that also shows the totality of Punisher’s strict code of justice, and how law enforcement is truly incapable of dealing with a force of nature like Frank Castle.
