BOOM! Studios' acclaimed young adult fantasy series, The Last Witch, is returning with a sequel this June. CBR can now share an exclusive preview of the upcoming The Last Witch: Blood & Betrayal.
The Last Witch series writer Conor McCreery (Assassin's Creed) and artist V.V. Glass' (Kamen Rider Zero-One) will again helm the upcoming installment, which sees Saoirse and her family gear up for another adventure. The preview showcases Glass' stellar art fans of the series are accustomed to. The Last Witch: Blood & Betrayal #1 will also arrive with a main cover by the artist.

The Original The Last Witch Hunt
McCreery and Glass' original The Last Witch series debuted in 2021. The story follows Saoirse, a young girl who lives in the Irish countryside with her father and brother, Brahm. One day, Saoirse ignores her father's warnings to be wary of the Imbolc and goes on an adventure with Brahm. After running into their grandmother, the two discover the tower of Black Annis, one of the Cailleach's handmaidens. The Cailleach is the queen of the witches and the return of her and her handmaidens signals the end of the world. Saoirse and her family are the last line of defense between the Earth and the forces of evil.
The Last Witch: Blood & Betrayal #1 will arrive in comic book shops on June 18, 2025.
