Fantastic Four v1 #216, 1980 - Randall James, a scientist friend of Reed Richards, uses his invention to evolve eons ahead of our time. Through trickery, the sinister Blastaar convince him the FF are his enemies. John Byrne's pencils struggle to find an ideal inker for this series. Pablo Marcos steps in this issue, almost completely diminishing his efforts. The overall sloppiness affects even the best pages, including battles with Blastaar (see interior page below).
