Reviewer Notes

The final issue of Huge Detective was released this week and I have to say it has been a blast to read. This whole series is a breakaway from the industry norm that has sunk the big three publishers. Huge Detective is the very essence of what independent comics should be. It brought me back to the days of my youth, when Dark Horse Comics, and other upstart publishers reigned supreme over the bloat that was Marvel and DC Comics.

I give the final issue Huge Detective five out of five stars. The series as a whole gets a solid four out of five stars as well. I hope to see more from writer Adam Rose and artist Magenta King. Titan Comics knows how to pick talent. I can’t wait to find out how and why the Huge got to the moon.
