Skybound and Image Comics have teased a massive milestone for the ongoing series that will be arriving before the end of the year. Per Image Comics' official December 2026 solicitations, G.I. Joe #29 will see the "Final Fight: Hawk Versus... Hawk?" Image Comics dubs it "the end of G.I. Joe as we know it," adding: "No one in G.I. Joe or Night Force will walk away the same..." It's a big claim for the series, which debuted back in 2024, but with the action ramping up in recent months, anything is possible. G.I.
