Director and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has revealed that his favorite character in his newly released Superman is none other than the enigmatic and eerie figure known simply as Mr. Handsome.

"When people ask me my favorite character from Superman, it just might be Mr. Handsome," stated Gunn. "Lex created Mr. Handsome in a Petri dish when he was 12 - he was trying to make a human. He didn't come out so well, but he just might be the only one in the world Lex has any true sentiment for, as evidenced by the photo on his desk."

The unsettling character, portrayed by Trevor Newlin, appears only briefly in the film but plays a memorable role. Mr. Handsome serves as the chauffeur in Lex Luthor's pocket-universe prison - carrying out Superman's transport with disturbing grace. Despite minimal screen time, his unsettling design and backstory made a lasting impression.
