Jeremy Renner’s ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Sets Its Final Showdown

Taylor Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown is heading toward its final showdown, with a federal lawman threatening to expose the secrets that keep its troubled Michigan town running. The fifth and final season premieres Friday, January 15, 2027, on Paramount+. Jeremy Renner returns as Mike McLusky, a fixer whose dealings connect street gangs with the people charged with keeping order. But fans face a trade-off. After a year without new episodes, they’ll get an eight-episode farewell. Each of the first four seasons ran for 10 episodes. The new season picks up after a killing that brought Kingstown’s violence into Mike’s family.
