John Krasinski’s Days as Tom Clancy’s ‘Jack Ryan’ are Not Over

John Krasinski’s days as Jack Ryan are not over after all. Word is that Amazon MGM Studios will be evolving the franchise into a new phase, moving from doing seasons of the series to movies. Wendell Pierce will also return, and Michael Kelly is in negotiations to do the same.

The writer for season four, Aaron Rabin, will script the film and second season director Andrew Bernstein will helm the project. The series will continue from the four seasons of the series, but no word if it will try to adapt some of Tom Clancy’s original Jack Ryan novels or if it will continue doing new stories.
