Triggered Comicbook Pros in Melt Down Over Donald Trump Victory

2 weeks ago 17

Liberal arts majors across the comic book industry aren’t taking Kamala Harris’ historic loss to Donald Trump very well. From writers, artists, colorists, letterers, press, and various related fields, the left wingers were so unhinged (looking at you Mark Russell) that I decided to creep over to Bluesky (the X alternative) and gather a few of the best examples of “triggered” from last night’s Trump victory and today’s sobering aftermath.

Be careful because there is some ‘not safe for work’ language. The Left has some ugly language, and last night was no exception. And hey, if you spot other meltdowns that aren’t included below, please share a link in the comments. I don’t want to miss any of them, because seeing them makes me so very happy.

These are the same people that called Trump supporters “nazis, fascists, bigots, haters, etc” and regularly make fun of religious people, so don’t have TOO much sympathy for them. Sometimes children need to sit in the corner and think about what they’ve done for a while. And maybe it’s time to start thinking about where those 20 million votes Joe got in 2020 went. Like honestly, how could Joe have possibly gotten 15 million more votes than Obama? And this year those 15-20 million decided to sit it out? C’mon man.

Maybe they need to wake up to the reality that most Americans are practical and reasonable. We care about what works, not what sounds good, which is why we could care less about Trump’s rhetoric, but care more about how his policies can help this nation. Most Americans are optimistic, and hate negativity. But the progressive “woke” view of America’s history as “an empire of evil for which we must eternally apologize” is abominable to us because we believe in moving forward together, not endlessly obsessing about past wrongs.

And Americans reject socialism. We believe in meritocracy. We don’t care about the rich being rich because we know that being rich in America is a path that’s available to anyone with the talent and drive to make it. Good Americans don’t resent success. We celebrate it. And Americans especially love an immigrant success story! We want talented immigrants to come to America, but refuse to accept people coming here illegally. And for those disadvantaged by birth, most Americans believe they should be given the opportunity to succeed, but reject the idea that in order to address so-called “errors of the past” new errors must be made, such as DEI.

These comicbook folks will get over it, and go right back to bashing Christians, Jews, Muslims, republicans, conservatives, laborers, and anyone else they don’t like, but you can ignore them because they’ve siloed themselves off in their own little bubble at BlueSky. The best of us will realize this country is made up of a diverse group of Americans that just want to be unified and allowed live their lives in freedom and to be entertained. We aim to please that contingency.

Congratulations to our 47th President, Donald J. Trump.
