Fiction's deadliest hunters will make prey of the entire Marvel Universe this August. Marvel Comics' upcoming five-issue limited series, Predator Kills the Marvel Universe, will see the infamous Yautja lay waste to Earth's heroes, including the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four.

Per Marvel, the series, helmed alongside returning artist Marcelo Ferreira, will conclude writer Benjamin Percy's saga which began with Predator Vs. Wolverine. The feud between the iconic hunters escalated to a conflict between two dynasties in Predator Vs. Black Panther. Then came a vicious attack on New York City in Predator Vs. Spider-Man. Following the interconnected trilogy, Predator Kills the Marvel Universe "sees the heroes of the Marvel Universe join forces to defend the world from an entire army of the galaxy’s greatest hunters." Leinil Francis Yu provides the haunting Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #1 cover, which portends doom for Earth's defenders.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe Writer Discusses the Series

In an interview with IGN, Percy discussed the Predator Vs. series and his excitement for its final installment. "Over the past few years, I've been having the time of my life writing the Predator Vs. series," he said. "The Yautja have hunted Wolverine across the decades. They've battled Black Panther and plundered Wakanda of its vibranium. And they've faced off against Spider-Man and Kraven during a blackout heat wave in New York. These stories have been patiently building toward something epic. Their interconnectedness will be revealed in this explosive, blood-drenched, five-part story."

Percy continued, "That title? It's not misdirection. This one's gonna hurt. Your favorite heroes and villains will fall, even as others rise up against this extinction-level event. The Predator King is here, the Yautja are armed with vibranium, and Earth is now a hunting preserve." The writer also teased how vibranium will tilt the conflict in favor of the Yautja, neutralizing the advantage of the heroes having powerhouses like Hulk and Thor on their side.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #1 will hit comic book shelves on August 8, 2025.
