Mike Benson (who wrote for HBO’s homage to brohood, “Entourage”) takes over the reigns. Charlie Huston’s run was just getting good. Benson’s run won’t be as good, but it’s not terrible.

“It gets a bad rap.” Not really. I’d say mediocre is about the right rap for this run.
Moon Knight registers as a superhuman but quickly there are questions about whether his methods are acceptable.

As he’s beating people up, the moon God is talking to him as the zombie spirit of Bushman, urging him on to greater violence.

He also appears as several other people, including Tigra, but always with a the gruesome, skinless face of Bushman–right before Moon Knight killed him.
He learns that Killer Shrike, the man who nearly killed Moon Knight’s pilot, Frenchie, is out of prison–on parole–and Moon Knight kicks the helpless man down a flight of stairs. Black Spectre also gets parole…Looks like they’re letting everyone out of prison these days.
Moon Knight gets progressively more crazy. He starts wearing the skin of Bushman’s face, which I guess he saved after killing him. And Black Spectre starts killing criminals and carving crescents in their heads–setting up Moon Knight.

Black Spectre’s return to criminality is paralleled against Iron Man deciding to arrest Moon Knight for the attack on Killer Shrike and the subsequent murders.

Of course it all ends with a big showdown between Moon Knight and Black Spectre (who says he “loves” Moon Knight).

Moon Knight tosses him off a roof into a crowd of spectators who are cheering on an Avengers rally. After that, SHIELD raids his mansion…

…And breaks Konshu.
I’m sure that’s gonna matter in the issues to come.
