Moon Knight finally knows what his new nemesis is made of, and it is absolutely terrifying.
While Marc Spector's allies are busy trying to keep the dream of the Midnight Mission alive, the titular hero of Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #5 is busy trying to take vengeance for its fall against the man who razed it to the ground - Achilles Fairchild. After months of tormenting one another from afar, Moon Knight and Fairchild have finally met face-to-face for a brawl that will determine the future of their city. Unfortunately, it is during this fight when Moon Knight finally learns exactly what he is up against, and while Fairchild is perfectly average compared to his fellow Asgardians, he is anything but when stacked up against the kind of competition he has found in Midgard.

Up until only recently, Achilles Fairchild was a complete enigma to Moon Knight, let alone to Marvel Comics readers. When his name was first revealed in 2024's Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #1 by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio, he was the latest crime lord in New York City. Fairchild was also the one behind the introduction of a new designer drug, Glitter, which has torn its way through the city's alleys and nightclubs, doing irreparable harm to dozens of users.
Although Fairchild's operation was relatively small on the surface, it quickly became apparent that he had sunk his hooks into NYC's underworld beyond anything Moon Knight or his allies expected. Soon enough, Fairchild was waging all-out war against Moon Knight and the rest of the Midnight Mission across multiple fronts. On top of destroying the Midnight Mission itself, bringing about an end to the life of the supernatural House of Shadows which had aligned itself with Moon Knight, Fairchild has used his influence over the NYPD to paint the Fist of Khonshu and his allies as terrorists, landing Marc Spector a spot at the top of the most wanted list.

The Most Unhinged Member of Infinity Watch Just Remade the Entire Marvel Universe
The most dangerous member of Infinity Watch has just rewritten Marvel history from the ground up, and there is no telling what will become of it.
The Asgard of the Marvel Universe was first seen all the way back in 1962's Journey Into Mystery #85 in Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby's opening story, "Trapped by Loki, The God of Mischief!" Home to the Asgardian gods such as Thor, Odin, Heimdall, and Loki, Asgard has existed in numerous forms since its debut. In its original incarnation, Asgard was an extradimensional plane with its own unique planetoids and celestial bodies. Despite being unconnected from locales such as Earth directly, Asgard still exists within the confines of the Ten Realms that have helped to define its place in the wider Marvel Universe and Multiverse.
